The M-series solar panels are
semi-flexible and especially designed for yachts and boats. This is
the same range of solar panels together with standard Solara fittings
that was fitted to Ellen Macarthur's Kingfisher.
SOLARA solar panels are made of high-grade steel and are small, pliable, very thin and light. When
stuck or screwed onto a flat surface, the solar panels can be walked
on and shape themselves to slightly-curved roofs. Due to the synthetic
surface there need be no fear of broken glass. These high-power solar
cells are extremely efficient. For the SOLARA M-series there is an
additional black edge- protection made of UV-resistant synthetic with
high-grade steel reinforcement. An attractive and useful way to finish
off the module's edge.
