WES 5 Tulipo 2.5 Kw

This little powerhouse can produce an average of 8.000* kWh (8 Mwh) per year at an average wind speed of 5.5 m/s (moderate breeze). This is enough electricity for a house or a small business

The WES Tulipo 2.5 Kw turbine has very low noise emission (only 35dBA at 20 meter distance from the source). It is light, has an attractive design and is easy to maintain. These factors make the WES5 Tulipo an ideal wind turbine for the urban area!

The Tulipo 2.5 Kw is a fixed pitch and upwind rotor with variable speed and designed for grid-connected operations. It has a safety active jaw mechanism, so that no tail vane is used.

The turbine will start automatically at a wind speed of 3 m/s. It has a tower height of 12 metres and weighs only 940 kg

WES18  80 Kw

WES BV manufactures 3 types of grid-connected wind turbines ranging from 2,5 kW to 250 kW. These turbines can be connected to the meter at a house, school, office, apartment building, farm, factory, hotel, bungalow park or other location where the electricity consumption falls within the production capacity of these turbines. If a larger turbine(s) is needed, WES can provide other alternatives.

The  80 kW and 250 kW turbines are also ideally suited for use in small wind farms (up to 2.5 MW), where the electricity produced is fed directly into the grid.

The WES18 is a well-known Dutch 80 kW wind turbine. The combination of variable speed, a mechanical passive blade pitching system and a hinged blade mounting system is unique in the world.

The WES18 is a sturdy and user-friendly wind turbine. It is characterised by:
• easy maintenance
• high reliability
• easy installation, even at hard to reach locations
• low loads on the gearbox and shaft
• the AC/DC/AC principle which allows the turbine to follow the grid current.

Over 500 WES18 wind turbines have been installed world-wide.  Many businesses consider this as the ideal money-saving instrument. You can easily erect the WES18 at any location near a house, farm or village and connect it to the grid. The WES18 is especially suitable for:
• farmers & isolated businesses
• diesel generator users
• small electricity grids
• isolated/island communities

The WES18 starts producing electricity at wind speed of 3 m/s and is already economical feasible with an average wind speed of 5 m/s. Rotor diameter is 18 metres.

At an average wind speed of 7 m/s (moderate breeze) a WES18 wind turbine can produce up to 200.000 kWh (200Mwh) per year.

WES30    250Kw

The WES30 (formerly known as the LAGERWEY 30/250) is a grid connected system and especially suitable for big electricity users and for small wind farms in difficult terrain. When the wind blows sufficiently (at least 5 m/s average) it will generate a lot of electricity. Due to its sturdy design is has a relatively low maintenance cost. This is a very reliable money-making wind turbine.

Over 300 WES30 wind turbines are installed world-wide. With a 30m rotor diameter this a medium sized turbine. With 30, 36 or 50 meter towers it can even be erected with relatively small cranes at difficult locations.

The WES30 starts producing electricity at wind speed of 3 m/s and is already economical feasible with an average wind speed of 5 m/s. Rotor diameter is 30 metres.

On average, this wind turbine can produce 650 MWh (MegaWatt hours) per year at an average wind speed of 7 m/s (moderate breeze).
